An Interactive Website also enables your marketing team to enable portals where information can be uploaded and shared with other employees, customers and suppliers.

Summary
Microsoft Office Live Workspace enables a company to create also an intranet website and an extranet website. In the intranet website, you can create, edit and share contacts, products, documents, presentations, contact lists, etc. The admin of the intranet website can manage all these items. The same is true for an extranet website. This all happens through the MS Office Live Workspace or as of May, 2010, Windows Live: Skydrive.

Folders can be created, kept private, or shared with certain people.
WIndows Live Mesh as part of MS WIndows LIve Essentials can be installed on your computer. WIndows Live Mesh enables you to sync your computer folders, IE favorites, MS Office templates, styles and signatures with WIndows LIve Skydrive, other computers and certain smartphones like Windows Phone 7. The screen below shows the result of synchronizing eg the Cash Flow folder from a laptop with Windows Live Skydrive. This synchronization is automatic. Those folders will always be reachable from any computer or smartphone that has internet access.
Windows LIve Mesh enables you to connect to other computers as long as WIndows Live Mesh is also installed on those computers, and properly configured with a secure id and password.

Note: This feature will be enhanced with the just released (5/2010) MS Office Web Applications where MS Office Live Workspaces will be moved to Skydrive under MS Windows Live. All the features of MS Office Live Workspace are kept but enhanced with online editing of a document. This means that you edit the document in your web browser without opening your PC based MS Office software.

Sometimes you want to share a recorded meeting with people who couldn't attend, in a secure way. You want to share it with only the people who belong to your company or organization. Since the audio files are so large, you can not email them. You could make them available on your FTP server and give access to the right people. Now with Windows Live Skydrive, this is much simpler.
